Trac-Boards

The crew here at Jaybrake came to the conclusion that there is something wrong with the floor boards that come stock on baggers and some Softails. For starters the look of a stock board is boring, no sugar coating needed. Also, the main function of any foot board is to support your feet while riding. Stock boards do support your feet, but not well enough. Your feet move around constantly vibrating out and back. This is a pain and many people probably never realize it or do realize it because their inner legs are sore after a ride from trying to hold their feet in place. Well, we noticed this too.

Looks and support is what you deserve from a floor board. So Jaybrake machined a board from aluminum and milled hole patterns in it. Then we pressed stainless steel studs into those holes. We developed four different design patterns that are not only visually appealing but function the way a floorboard should by securing your feet in place. The studs are placed so that your boot should not contact the aluminum board which will limit the amount or wear on the chrome or black anodized surface.

Vibration is controlled through the design of our rubber mounts. Through working with a rubber company we designed isolator mounts that fit right into the stock floor board pan. This means a quick install and your feet are isolated from vibration unlike many other aftermarket boards that are directly mounted with no isolation. Jaybrake boards will definitely give your bike some attitude and support your feet the way they should be.
